Fancy a quick flick through the history of America in under 6 minutes? Then take a look at this video that accompanies the Wolfgang Gartner track Illmerica.

I love the animation in this video, the attention to detail, the historical accuracy, and above all it’s an amazing tune!

The video is directed by Ryan McNamara at Mackingwell Production.

I wonder if I could get way with dressing my dog up like this…

Facing fears

HTML Confusion

This tweet pretty much sums up my on/off relationship with web coding language.

I’ve always kind of known a little bit about HTML from my previous job, and a little bit less about CSS. But purely on a ‘need to know’ basis.

To be quite frank, the thought of having to develop a website makes me quiver.

Up till now that is. I’ve faced my fears, dusted off my old HTML Dog book and have forced myself to learn it properly.

As a result, i’ve spent a whole weekend working hard, and have now got a brand new website to show off as a result. Who knew i could do it? If you asked me a week ago if i wouldn’t have been so sure.

So yes. Well done me. Next stop i’ll be developing a site that I recently designed for Rees Transport. And then who knows…the world is my oyster. So to speak.

I saw Bjork perform this at her Biophilia gig in Manchester a few weeks back. Beautiful song, striking video.
